I managed to score a new BB GF single-vent suit in a recent sale for $450 but just noticed a blemish in the fabric on the lapel. Is this something y'all think a tailor can fix or can be overlooked given the deal I got? Or is it a dealbreaker.

Thanks!

You might be able to fix it yourself as follows:

1. Get hold of a needle and thread.
2. Push the needle through the center of the blemish, just far enough that it clears the fabric.
3. Twist the thread (your goal is to grab/tangle the blemish within the thread)
4. Pull the needle farther through, in hopes that the thread will drag the blemish along with it
5. Assuming #4 is successful, use your fingers to work the surface of the cloth, to close around where you pulled the blemish through
6. Repeat steps for the second blemish

Good luck and hope it works. If not, you can always try a tailor, before returning the jacket.

You need to take it to a reweaver. It can be done but it takes technical know how.
