blazer vs suit separate

can anyone give me a quick idea of the difference between a blazer / sport coat / and suit separate?

I don't know if anybody makes good/high quality separates. That alone may be a reason to avoid them.

A suit separate is simply an option to buy the matching trousers and coat 'separately' to accommodate different body shapes. They look as much an orphan being worn without their trousers as a suit suit as a pre-matched pair of trousers and coat.
