Blazer - How much can it be altered?

I have an odd body proportion and I just dont think I look right with a blazer on. Basically anything that fits my torso is too long in length. The only blazer I found that fits me is BoO - and I do not want to spend $1500 or even $900 on sale for one of those.

There are perfectly good blazers on sale for 200-350 nowadays with sales. I just tried on a Steven Alan cooper blazer in 38. Sleeves and length are right - body is WAY too tight. Could barely button it.

So basically any blazer that fits my chest and shoulder has sleeves and length that are too long. Are those possible to be altered? I am sure sleeves are no problem but how about length? Most blazers seem to run 31-33' in length for my size and I would like that to be more like 29-30

Sleeves are intended to be adjusted. Unless it has working buttons it's not a big issue.

For length look for short jackets.

Yes, just look for shorts instead of regulars. Don't worry about sleeves, those are easy to alter.
