I am looking for a black shirt with white collar. I found one at www.mailmeshirts.com.

My questions are:

Has anyone of you tried shirts from Scandinavian Prestige?
How is the quality and style. It looks good on the website?
Would you dare to buy here?

Uuugggghhhh, looks wierd. Is there an occasion to wear such shirts (e.g. a funny funeral with a cocktail bar and the waiter is wearing that kind of shirt)??

If I saw someone wearing a shirt like that, I would ask them to refill my drink. And I would not tip.

I've never understood the basis for shirts with collars and cuffs different from the rest of the shirt. I'm not trying to be rude about it. In fact, I'd like to understand the reasoning. Is there some sort of history behind these shirts?

IIRC, people used to replace worn out cuffs and collars with white, new ones, due to obvious difficulties finding an exact match.

I have always liked wearing such shirts with white collar and I think it gives a very classic and professional look.

Well, back in the day, the collar and cuffs were detachable. Since they're the part of the shirt that gets the dirtiest, you would wash and starch them, leaving the rest for a few later wearings. I like the look, but it's ridiculous without a tie, or with button cuffs. Also black... maybe good for the club, but it's definately not professional unless you do something in media etc...

Stick to red or blue stripes, even solids in other colours.

I like stupidly loud shirts but there's way too much matching going on there.

did you look at the site? other shirts?
who styled that photo shoot.
the shirts do not fit the model very well.
the shirts have that look.. made in an automated factory in the far east or India. poor to medium quality. collars and cuffs look guarenteed to shrink.

i think, the shirt is not as bad as you say.
as shirtmaven said it could be a lot worse.
and i think he could properly wear it to go to some clubs and
not look ridiculous as all of you say.

but i have to agree that as a dress shirt its a no go
