Black shirt white pinstripes

I have a black shirt with white pinstripes from Express and I really don't know what I can wear it with. What color slacks can I wear with this shirt? I know my options are limited on the suit front but any help there either? I seriously don't think I've worn this shirt once! Someone give me something!

A picture would help greatly. Is evening wear the usage? Tan probably would work with it. Maybe dark, fitted denim, too. It sounds inappropriate to wear with a suit.

As someone mentioned earlier, I would try some dark wash denim. Your question asks specifically about slacks, but I can't think of anything that creates a decent looking picture in my head when I try to match it. Dark dress shirts are generally a pain to match, and I've rarely, if ever, seen anyone match one to my liking.

Possibly a mid-grey, lighter than charcoal (so there is sufficient contrast), might work. But, as others have mentioned, dark dress shirts are tough. As another person suggested, wearing it as a layering piece (under a sweater) is an option. Otherwise, (again, as others have said) I think dark denim is your best option.
