Greetings

I have been thinking of buying a John Lobb wallet.
http://us.estore.johnlobb.com/leather-goods/driving-licence-wallet.html

I would much prefer a brown one, however since I do know that they are discontinuing museum calf products and I'm out of options, I would like to know if anyone had a experience with the black one.

I have not seen a black one personally, and many do say they look different from what pictures can usually describe. How do they really look? Any input on this would be welcomed.

I have been looking JL wallets, too. For ready made wallets, I am torn between JL and Berlutti. I think JL probably makes a better product with better leather, but I dislike the boot impressed on the outside of the wallets, and the seam that runs the length of the back. I like the Berlutti colors much better, too.

If I went with John Lobb, I'd go with dark brown rather than would go for museum black. Whether the price of the JL or Berlutti wallets is appropriate is an entirely different matter.
