Hey everyone, so I've lurked here for a bit and this is my first post. I'm hoping some of you might be able to give me advice on black loafers. Earlier this year I discovered the concept of "style" and realized that basically my entire wardrobe had to go. I've been working on slowly replacing my old, ill-fitting, low-quality items and next on my list is a new pair of black leather loafers. I've so far been wearing these (http://www.amazon.com/Rockport-Mens...UTF8&qid=1378923179&sr=1-12&keywords=rockport), which I gather aren't the most fashionable shoes ever. Square toe, rubber sole, cheap construction, etc.
I'd like to replace them with something to achieve this sort of look:

I'm not as big on the whole bootcut jeans and boots, though, so I've been looking more at loafers. Would something like these (http://www.zappos.com/mezlan-15387-black?zfcTest=fcl:3) or these (http://www.zappos.com/boss-black-mellion-black?zfcTest=fcl:3) be a good replacement? I just graduated college, so I don't have a ton of money to invest in high-end clothing yet. Thanks!
