Black Label Tailoring Question

I've got a RL Black Label navy blazer. Recently I've put on some additional muscle weight around my lats and rib cage (pullups) and I feel like I need to let the waist out a bit. Does anyone know how much side seam allowance the Black Label has built in?

Not sure about the seam allowance but I had the same issue with mine. My tailor was able to let it out a bit without throwing off the cut of the jacket. Just make sure you take it to a tailor you trust to do an alteration like that.

Take it to an RL store and ask them; the tailors there would know better than anyone else.

I am looking for a BL blazer. When and where did you get your's from? I am a 36S, so that's part of the problem!

Got it from a RL flagship store last year ($425 down from $1450, I think).

Not that much room to let it out. I have a Black Label suit that needed alteration and there wasn't quite enough fabric to get it exactly the way that I wanted it. It still looks good, but it isn't quite perfect.

You gained mass around your lats and you're thinking about letting the waist out? I'm not sure I see the logic.

It's more around the rib cage. Not sure what muscle to call that -- rib muscle? Is it technically the bottom part of the lat? I gained in my "real lats" too, but not enough to cause any fit problems. What's making it fit tight is the new "rib muscles." (Is that better?)

I think you are not only talking about your lats, but also your obliques.
