Would you care to mention the name of those clothings?
Even the deals on the electronics aren't great. Last year, I wanted to buy a laptop. Overall, the prices were about the same. Stores run pretty similar promotions all year 'round. The fact that it's "BLACK FRIDAY!" makes people think that the prices are more special than they are. It's all marketing. You'll hear about a store that had a great midnight deal on big screen tv's, but it's usually in some obscure place, and they only have 3 or 4 of them in stock. I keep my eyes open, but generally, Black Friday's a bust IMO.
Every store I know of has big sales on their stuff on Boxing day
Really? Boxing day is a big shopping occasion in Canada?
The only sales I see are either at department stores, electronics, or stores like JCrew/BR.
Any Canadians checked out Holt Renfrew black Friday sale today? Anything worthwhile?
40% off fall items. For suits, Canali's for 1k, Zegna for 13-1400.
There was a Paul Smith Suit I wanted to pick up, but $1350 - 40% isn't enough to justify it. Maybe 50% off.
Also let's bear in mind that clothing retailers are treading on egg shells lately...don't expect great deals on very much at all right now or in the near future as everyone is playing it safe (i.e. buying safe and low quantity) after the huge hit they took a few years ago.
Who said anything about Canada?
$1350 after discount? Seems high. Interested though.
1350 at regular price. After discount it would be 830+tax.
It must be nice living in a country that's not America. Do you have indoor plumbing in that third world hell hole you call home?
You tell em!!!!! Calm down there, chief.
