Black Derby Shoe Recommendations

Looking for recommendations for a sleek black plain or cap toe derby, no brogues or wingtips.

The ones I've come across are difficult for me to determine if they're chunky or sleek, based on the product pictures. And unfortunately, I don't have any brick-and-mortar shoe shops for most recommended brands in my area, so I'm unable to see the shoes in person.

Intending to pair them with slim fit pants, in mostly smart caz and biz caz fits for the office.

Would prefer to keep the price below $300 USD, but open to all suggestions.

Thanks!

I feel your pain as at this moment I'm located far away from any retails with decent brands and have to shop online only. Around your budget: Meermin, Crownhill, Berwick, Yanko. All of them in most cases rather sleek than chunky (you are looking for close welt stitching). Anyway, try to find retail with good return policy.
