Oh yeah--those guys are total unique, individual flowers--not herd-like at all. Anyway, I'm not saying anything about you personally, but this "women's fashion makes it all too easy... blah blah" is total crap. Women's fashion is amazing and with a lot more room for creativity than men's fashion. Herd behaviour is a result of lack of style/taste/fear and it goes both ways and has nothing to do with women's (or men's) fashion. And to the OP, as to the black + brown, who's still wearing that this time of year? But in general, I love the look.

As much as I too love Anne in that she's an awesome chick who seems really sweet way, that outfit is pretty terrible. WTF is that hat? And that collar (? is that a bib collar lining??) on that coat? And that coat's texture with the texture of the tights and then the texture of those two against the smooth leather? AND on top of all that, a crocodile skin (i think) purse with a chain strap? No no, it's all wrong.

I avoid making comments about women's clothing. When I hear other males do it, it almost always comes out sounding "catty". And it brings back bad memories of seeing Mr. Blackwell on TV when I was a kid, rolling his eyes and lisping about how "badly" some of the most beautiful women in the world dress themselves.
