This is a thread for members to discuss bjj/mma/legit combat sports.
My first post is for bjj enthusiasts. I scored a new shoyoroll gi for 200 dollars in my size when they usually go for 750-1000.

You can always sign up for their Guma program. I'm done with Shoyoroll, I sold all of mine and went for Origin Gi's. Their new fabric is absolutely amazing.

Just randomly searched for BJJ because I was bored. I'm a three stripe purple belt, been training since 2004. Anybody else in here?

Nice! I don't do MMA or BJJ, but I have done Muay Thai for a number of years. Went down to Thailand in 2012 and 2013 to train, and I loved it. I've had to take a break to heal up some injuries, but damn I want to get back into it.

Nothing beats the thrill of ritualised combat. Muay Thai is a beautiful style. Unfortunately I have always been a terrible striker.

Definitely. I'm actually a pretty shit striker as well, I kinda just do it because I enjoy it and, like you said, I think it's a beautiful art form.
