    +1.

Q: What's the difference between a hippie and an onion?

A: I cry when I cut an onion.

Awesome, but I have to say -1. When it's warm out, what sane person wants to cover their toes if they don't have to? I love my arizonas, but when I want to wear sandals, lately I prefer my sanuks.

    Let me see...

    Do they look sharp? No!
    Do they look sporty? No!
    Do they look elegant? No!

    conclusion:
I can't approve and would never wear them.

Birkenstocks might be comfortable though. I know people who wear them as house shoes.

I personally love Birkenstock shoes (don't have any of their "hippie" sandals). I own 7 pairs. I find them to be the most comfortable of those that I've tried/owned (eg Clarks, Eccos). The orthopedic insole gives outstanding foot support compared to most other shoes.
They are also very well made. I wear one pair quite regularly (2-3x per week) for the past 6-7 years and they still look great with little wear on the soles.

They certainly aren't the most stylish, trendiest shoes, but I'll take comfort over style anyday. I have three pairs of the Corvallis...

honestly, it's not what you wear, its how you wear it...

if it doesnt fit your style, or if u dont have the confidence to "rock" them, then it will look dumb. this goes with any kind of clothes. if you have to ask a forum if they approve of it, then....

i just seen a picture of taka miyashita wearin clogs and he looked good. then again, were talkin about a man who is pure swag

Has anyone noticed how often the phrase "rock 'em" comes up in reference to crap clothes?

styleforum group think as always. Who says something has to be "sharp" (read sleek and pointy) to look good?
