$900 here.

I was rummaging in my desk last night and found the two receipts for the biggest bar tab I've ever had. Me and four friends, at the Lazy Gecko in Key West, a combined $700 tab, $200 tip. We were there from 4:00 pm to 1:00 am. Pizza, a brazillion mojitos, and lots of rounds with random strangers. It was my turn to pay.

That's a painful bar tab. When I go to a bar, I generally bring a flask and just order a couple Tullamore Dews & water. It's a good way of making it look like you're blowing money on booze, which ladies <3.

$3,000 (including a $500 tip)

That was our wedding after party at Hiro (club/bar in NYC) so it involved a few bottles

So far, I've always been a contributor to the bar tab, rather than the recipient of one.

So you're "that guy?"

I don't like to keep track of money for bragging rights, but my friends have a receipt taped to their fridge for several hundred dollars from a local pub. The most I've ever spent on a cocktail was $11 for a martini in Vegas, though. Hmm.

Theres a club here where you order champagne bottles, and if you pay big they flash your name on a screen, put corny music on and have these waitresses get you the bottles (so that everyone knows you ordered one).

Its the douchiest thing ever.

Its pretty funny to see those idiots trying to outdo eachother, paying obscene amounts for sometimes just one bottle they couldve gotten for a fraction of it.

This saudi guy who was attending college here once blew 20,000$ for 3 bottles....

My biggest tab was about 300$, total was 1000.

Personally: $400+tip, on a few rounds of Johnnie Blue with a couple of guys I worked with right out of college. It was my "initiation." They all paid me back with job perks. One other time, with my boss and two other colleagues, I believe it was $800+tip. My boss picked up the tab, saying he was the CFO, he says how money comes in and goes out.

Recently, since I'm back in school, my tab hasn't been over $100 for a long time. They're mostly in the $60-70 range, and only every 2-3 weeks. I tend to drink at home with friends more often.

~ $100 at a club in Miami. I spent around half of that on buying drinks to a smoking hot german chick. Danced with her for the night, but that was about it.
