Yes, we're sorely underrepresented at these sales. Which surprises me. Since everyone around here, at least, seems to wear smaller shoes, it would be easy to get the impression that the larger shoes would go begging.

Well, I think that impressions may be skewed by the fact that a few prolific shoe pornographers who post frequently in this forum wear shoes in the 7-9 size range. I wear 11.5's and it's my impression that the 10-12 size range is pretty common (and thus it's often hard to find sale or remaindered shoes in that range). I know for a fact that several members of this forum also wear 11.5's - and are going to get slapped upside the head if they don't stop outbidding me for stuff . . .

Be thankful, gentlemen, you are not my brother in law. The poor guy is a 15AA. I used to have disdain for the shoes he wore. Now that I know his size, I realize he must have a hell of time finding anything that fits, much less anything elegant.

I can recall that many shoe lines did not even have sizes larger than 12. I often had a hard time finding size 13s 50-odd years ago. I have always been extremely thankful to God or whatever power governs such matters that my feet stopped growing before they reached 13 1/2. That must be a hellishly hard size to finding anything decent in RTW for.

Probably! I nabbed the last pair of Cortland seconds in brown in the A-E system in my size not long ago.

Nah, too skinny! Now if he were a 15 EEE, that might be a valid question. (And he's my brother in law, not my brother.)

I wear anywhere between a 10.5 and a 12, depending on the shoe.

F all you small-footed people.

I wear 6.5 so most of the time, these are not even produced, which is even worse.

Perhaps you gentlemen who have difficulty finding shoes due to the enormous size of your feet, are compensated in another way.
