Big head, oddly-proportioned body: how should I dress?

I've got a massive, long-shaped cranium (with a broad forehead and big jaw kicker).
Fortunately, I also have super-wide shoulders, which makes it slightly less noticeable.
I have a naturally slender, athletic build (swimmer body type) but short legs.

I compensate for this with my short haircut (#2 weekly) and preference for collared shirts. Is there anything else I should really think about? Fitted and slim-fit shirts tend to fit me very well, but I wonder if they make me look worse.

You're probably rougher on yourself than others would be (I know I am more sensitive to certain of my features). I've found, though, by searching out a couple of men's wear shops with good advice compensates for my deficiencies.

BobStrauss welcome to Styleforum. It will help if you post a photo of yourself. An entire body shot would be best. You can black out the eyes if privacy is a concern. Add to this, the following information:

  • Your location
  • Age
  • Lifestyle (example- I work in an office or, for weekend wear)
  • Budget
  • etc.
