Hi guys,
If I was in the US or back in Canada this would not be a huge problem but I am not... I am in Singapore and they do not sell stuff in my size here and having something made would probably be an expensive proposition.

I need to be in China in the winter and I need a coat. Looking to spend maybe £200 to £300. I see a lot of online tailors where you can submit your measurements, I am pretty sure they are gonna be crap but can anyone here provide some first hand experience with getting coats done online. I guess coats are a bit more forgiving as they do not have to hug the body and fit perfectly like jackets.

A site I found to be interesting was tailor4less.com but there are quite a few if you google men's custom coats, would appreciate any information specific to getting coats done online..

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
