Is ol' Joe wearing a velvet collar? [IMG] Pulls attention from the rug. Very nice, though.

hey, be nice, that's my Senator there.

I often see him at the Amtrak station in Wilmington, DE. He commutes to DC daily from Delaware and I commute to Baltimore.

I have seen him wear this Chesterfield coat at times and it is wonderful.

I wish we had similar tastes in politics though.

Looking at the photo, the lower weave seems to be velvet, the upper some form of miracle fiber. DuPont, after all, is a Delaware company...

By the way, I don't think he's got a rug. I think he got the hair "plugs" -- at least that's what it looked like in all those Clarence Thomas hearings 10+ years ago. I too like the coat.

I don't think they're plugs. Sometimes you'll see Biden without the rug, something I've always seen as odd. He might have it on or might not, sort of like Willard Scott.

Great coat, though. And I hear Biden may be our next Secretary of State.

Wow. He would be treading in the monumental footsteps of such luminaries as Warren Christopher and Madeline Albright, two of our most insightful masters of diplomacy. Can he rise to such a challenge?

You're right- how could he possibly follow Colin Powell's act selling his soul by willfuly lying to the UN regarding WMD.

j, I started the thread all in good fun. cuffthis, your job next time you see Joe is to find out where his coat is from. I wonder if he got it at the same place Neil Kinnock shops... [IMG]
