Background: Beyonce and Michelle Obama have a campaign to encourage kids to exercise. Beyonce basically made a music video and these kids learned the choreography. Beyonce makes a surprise appearance and the kids momentarily lose their **** but continue kicking ass.

That was cool.

There's a whole gym full a of small kids that could dance better than me. Man I wish I could dance.

I'm going to be the ass here and point out how sad it is that having kids dance for a few mins is considered progress in getting them to exercise. Hell they were wearing jeans and probably didn't break much of a sweat.

But yeah, cool for the kids that they got this expereince.

Yeah I guess, but my gut tells me these kids are not doing 30 minute to hour long dance sessions to build up a real sweat and get the heart pumping.

This didn't work because no fat kids were there...they were probably eating cupcakes in the bleachers while the fit kids were dancing

I'm guessing this wasn't compulsory. I saw some boys in the group, but no more than a handful.

When Beyonce showed up, my first thought was, "what's that white woman doing there?"

How long do you think it took them to learn that dance?

I think it's more about getting kids to be interested in exercise.

Anyway, beyonce can get it.

Juding from the "Would You Hit It?" threaks, her body would be too bootylicious for approximately 40% of StyleForvmers.

its weird because there's been a total shift where if you're exercising your in workout clothes and sweating buckets.

but i think even as recently as the 90's i remember playing bball/baseball/football/soccer in whatever I was wearing until i'd sweat. that meant even on blacktops in the city where the ballers were dunking half the people on the court were in jean shorts (oh god 90's style horror - knee length jorts) and cotton shirts ect.

plus dancing can be done with normal clothes. you don't need to be all "black swan" or "dancing with the stars" attired to dance up a sweat.
