If you think you have just enough time to rub one out before your friend/girlfriend/sister/pizza guy/whoever shows up, you don't.

Nothing is worse than frantically stuffing a halfway-there boner back into your pants to go answer the door.

Unless you just finished and are too much of a mess for stuffing.

So that got me started thinking about this: what are some other simple, easy-to-execute advices (consumer-related or not) that SF-ers have for the less experienced? What are some other "free" money/benefit in life that we've been missing out on? what are some other must-do's? Would like to avoid making mistakes for longer...

Fuckin A, thanks for kicking me **********. I've been using that card for way too long with no rewards.

Wash your hands thoroughly when dealing with spicy things like habaneros, especially before going to the bathroom.

Word.
Prepared a hot curry then went for a quick shower, thought I had an STD or something, the burning was quite something.

If you're too good at your position, you will never be promoted.

Not true. Just make damned sure the person underneath you is capable of doing your job, but very slightly less so. You will move up when there is someone to fill your place that you have trained to be that way.

Sooner or later, you realize that the secret to success isn't doing insane amounts of work, no matter how good. It's about managing people to get results. Managers of people get promoted a lot more quickly than do-whatever-it-takes-for-the-task-at-hand people.

Early in your career, you want to be the star player. Midway through your career, you want to be the star coach.
