Why not get Stefano Branchini?

Very Simliar in the sitching... I would say Branchini makes a better shoe.

I wish B&V would have a webpage...

I bought my second pair last week. I'm a size 9 ( U.S. ) but I wear a size 8 in the Bettanin & Venturis. I'm happy with my shoes and they are very comfortable. There's something about the workmanship ( being hand made ) that feels durable and you know will last you a lifetime. Their design is unique that I wear them casual with jeans.

Your 9 US translates to what in UK size? 8.5?

The Branchinis are way out of my budget for a mere casual gear. I would get them if I were to switch my daily style to that sort of thing completely (suits, shirts, etc.). Otherwise, it's kinda odd to have an English-styled suits and shirts with Branchini shoes.

A U.S. size 9 would be 8.0 to 9.5 in U.K. I'm true to size in British shoes like Lobb, Church's and Crockett and Jones. You may want to try an 8 in the Bettanins as well.

My size for John Lobb shoes are 8.5 and 9.0. It depends weather it's a loafer or an oxford. I have a larger size on a Lobb Oxford ( size 9 ).

I should have pulled the trigger on these Bettanin and Venturis from ebay a month or two ago.

What fantasticly unique leather.

They were $275 but I didn't know anything about the maker and I don't really need anymore shoes. But still....sigh....

They had quite a few pairs at the last Barney's Warehouse Sale. I wasn't a fan of the design, but I could see how they could make an attractive shoe. The sizing, however, was confusing. I would only buy their shoes if I could return them, and think it would be best to try on in store.

I have both S.B and B&V and the sizing is Italian so 1 size down from what you would regularly wear is the way to go.

I have several pairs of B&V... I usually wear a US 8.5 but wear a 7 in B&V.

Just bought the wingtip boot as shown on the Barney's website. It's a good looking shoe but note that the actual color is much lighter than what you see on the website.
