Not technically Bethesday/Chevy chase but the Saks in Tysons is having 50% off reduced price sale. There seem to be a lot of Chip and Pepper jeans, several Zegna pants and button shirts, few Hugo Boss pants, quite a few Armani Collezioni pants, some Givenchy shirts, and a lot of Coats and Jackets. Some of the shoes are also on 50% off reduced price sale.
The chevy chase Saks I believe is having their consolidation sale only on Coats and Jackets.

This thread hasn't been updated in a while i guess, but just came back from chevy chase shopping today. Although very difficult, didn't buy anything but wanted to create a brief report "from the field"
Ralph Lauren Store: some purple label suits and superb sportcoats on sale, sounds like they can look for your size if not avail in store. marked down to....i think 1800 or so? unsure if it was possibly lower, but the cream of the crop were two immaculate, perfect tuxedos in size 42reg and 40r. marked down to $3k I think (unsure of that?), peaked lapels, double vents, grograin ribbed silk facings, and a stripe down the trouser just like that shown in the Timothy Everest bespoke tux recently featured in the Rake magazine. Awesome.
Saks, lots of sportcoats on sale-- includes zegna milano and isaia. 40% off already marked sale prices, came very near to purchasing a wonderful conservative herringbone or one of the checked olive and blue patterns. really great. still some kiton shirts on sale (additional 40% off sale prices, probably comes out to around $200 or possibly slightly less)
Neiman marcus-- tons of stuff on sale, but no suits or sportcoats. I actually heard one of the sales reps complaining they needed a suit sale right now to draw customers. The newest zegna milano suits are in, tho, and there was a great lookin taupey glen plaid with chocolate windowpane-overpattern, two button with ticket pocket (first i've seen of that in the milano line), extremely nice. came damned close to buying that.
