1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

ugh, the new pizza hut logo bites. IMO of course.

[IMG] Japanese Friendship Garden of San Diego BTW Faustian I was looking more carefully at that Sakura logo, and the flaws are in the actual logo, everywhere I've seen. It's kind of weird... the logo on the pens themselves is too small to tell if the logos are flawed though.

he sure looks less and less like the colonel. perhaps the next logo would be him in hair net and beard shaved.

How did I miss this thread? Some good ones already covered. Esp, the Mont Blanc and Chanel logos. Here are some other classics and not so classics:

As a student of the Old School, I prefer the non "dimensionalized" logos of yesteryear. 2-D is where it's at. I left the new school VW in there though.

The simpler, the better. Particular fan of the Leica and the illy logos. Timeless.
Also like the Brioni and Vespa ones and their typefaces.
The American fast food logos make me want to vomit profusely, let alone the thought of consuming the products they flog.

Illy is definitely one of my favorite logos, as is Leica. They both posess a really perfect balance of shapes and curves, as well as a clean contrast btween the red and white. illy is like 60% red/40% white... looks really nice.
