What's a good brand of white v necks to wear.. I'm thinking of getting hanes tagless v necks, but I think those are more of an undergarment.. ??

Just a simple V-Neck can be an undergarment or can be worn just as any other tee would. A lot of people on this board like Hanes, but there are other brands that produce a higher quality product. Personally I prefer the Pima Cotton Stretch tees from Banana Republic, the fit my chest perfect and are cheap too.

BTW this question could/should have been asked in the small questions thread that is stickied to the top of this forum. Hope this helps!

My favorite are the pima cotton non-stretch from Banana Republic. They hold up well and fit well.

You have to buy 3 at a time from Banana Republic for 25% off.

I wear the "fitted" ones. In white they hold up as well as Hanes over time, so I just get the 5 pack of Hanes these days. More shirts = less wear and tear over time.

if you're looking for rugged and durable... no clue

if you're looking for buttery soft and elegant... sifr makes some epic ones if you size right

Uniqlo 'premium cotton' are really good, come in a 2 pack here for like $10. The problem is, they're borderline too small for me in XL, and that's the largest size they make... and I'm a true XS.

Asian sizing is weird, I'm not even a big person in Asia nowadays by any means.

I actually wear Ribbed Tees as a normal tee. Works great for athletic builds IMO and very form-fitting. Ribbed texture makes it look less like an undershirt.

H&M vnecks are actually some of the best I've had. Soft, slim, and they hold up way better than hanes.

by ribbed do you mean wifebeater-esque fabric?
