best way to lace Tricker's stow?

What do you think?
should I thread each lace's end hole by hole up to the top?
or should I do it with just one end, and let the other end go straight from the bottom to the top?

With blutchers I typically do the 'criss-cross' at each level. I find the 'rapid' method with one going from the bottom to the top especially with boots to tighten the ends but leaves the area between looser.

i guess I made a mix of both methods: the lace "starts" from above at the most bottom holes (like for even # of eyelet in the examples above) but then I criss-crossed like in the "odd #" example... like here http://theshoebuff.com/wp-content/up...ue-Boot-02.jpg
