But who of us will still have money? And of that group, which could not afford things before?

Post 9/11 there were numerous "special" sales at all the top retail chains nationwide. US retail sales reports that came out today show that buying really slowed down to a snails pace. I'm sure you will see significant sales now at all levels of retail. This will be the fall to stock up on cashmere sweaters me thinks!

I just hope that there's plenty of willing people to re-sell stuff on the B&S forum so that those of us overseas can enjoy the sales, too.

I will be going in on Christmas day, but unfortunately will be traveling the night of christmas day. I might be able to buy some stuff for forum people, but we need to wait and see when the actual sale will be.

I am going to email Manolo at the end of November at Paul Stuart and see what he has to say.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
