"A fine pair of shoes" have also some sizes of Kelso at discount, check their site.
Other quality alternative are Cheaney Pennine, C&J Snodown
If you are looking for a Veldtschoen at good price look at Hoggs Range (Rannoch model):

Sanders make some models of boots for this seller , with good quality and low price

Also, if any of you guys have current pictures of how they're wearing? Meanwhile, I've contacted Cheaney, hopefully they will respond soon.

Re the above questions... heres messages i have sent recently regarding my experince of the Cheaney FS029's..

"Mine have held up superbly, polish now an again with Saphir Creme and theyre good to go. Wore them only just today for the youngest sons football game soaking wet grass and mud and a quick swill when you gethome and theyre as good as new. I wear them and use them i dont mollycoddle them and i think strangely they are better looking for it. I get compliments all the time, even just today someone was asking where i got them.

Ive recommended these to quite a few folk and im sure you wont be disapppointed if you get some."

"Sorry didnt directly answer your questions yes i do wear them in the rain and snow and as long as you allow them to dry naturally no problems.Mine have been through every weather you can imagine with minimal waterproofing, i would say every 3rd time of wearing they get a cream polish. They still look brand new"

."I'm sure Cheaney will advise you better but sizing wise they are a true to size for me. I'm 6.5 in C&J 337 and 6.5 in both AS and Trickers. They are just slightly larger prob due to the fact theyre a boot which suited me as i generally wear slightly thicker socks with them. When i say slightly i mean slightly not like a haf size bigger just a thicker sock larger.

Hope that helps......"
