As someone who enjoys nice clothes, I only wear MTM suits from differents makers (mostly sold to me by a local salesman).
They cost me between 700-900 EUR a piece usually.(tax included).
I was considering going for a "real"savile row suit but...

1.I have been really happy with my current suits. I a mdressed better than 99% of the people I meet.
2.Am I going to notice the difference at all? (mostly in fit which is why I started MTM. RTW is not an option for me if I want a suit that fits).
I was wondering what the experts here consider the best value for money. Not the best in absolute terms, but the best value for someone who enjoys a nice suit while having to work for a living. (lets say 5000 USD/ month).

So many brands/tailors are discussed here that it seems very difficult to make a choice...

If you are happy with the fit, then the only reason to spend more for a suit or jacket is to get exactly the material or design you want. You could be very happy with your wardrobe standards that you have and maybe a few unique pieces that you have made bespoke.

In my opinion the best value is something I have not tried, which is flying to Hong Kong and having Chan make suits for you. If I were on a budget, I would save up for such a trip and pick up 36 Jantzen shirts while I was at it.

I went to hong kong in december for a couple of days (my girlfriend works for Air France so I sometimes go for a short trip with her). Unfortunately I did not know baout Jantzen and Chan when I went. It was before I discovered this forum
