I often wonder if there is more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking.

And I plan on finding out what that is.

My favorite boxer briefs (what I wear) are:

    1). Hanro (good but pricy)
2.) Brooks Brothers (good and available on sale)
3.) Banana Republic (used to be better, quality has suffered lately)
4.) Kalvin Klein (can be purchased in an emergency)

Love the uniqlo boxer briefs, as well as the ExOfficio ones which feel great, last, and are excellent for trips.

    Evolve by 2xist from Target.

I like em WAY better than the mainline, pricey 2xist pairs I own.

I used to wear Hanes boxer briefs, but they really do lose their elasticity super quick. The legs are too long too, so by the end of the day you have a saggy ass and bunched up legs. Now I get CK trunks(can be found cheap at TJMAXX). They do an okay job at keeping their shape, but it could be better.

They really are pretty good, especially for the price. Too bad they're a bitch to come by now.

I do find it funny that for a style forum where dropping a few hundred dollars is nothing, $30 underwear makes people flinch. Seriously, Hanes is awful. Do yourself a favor and buy at least one pair of nice quality underwear.

    I agree!

I have a pack of Hanes boxer brief that I bought last year, since they are uncomfortable to wear underneath jeans/pants I wear them to chill around the house. But I rather wear Hanes briefs than their boxer briefs if I had to stick with Hanes.

I don't like cotton as a material for underwear (including tshirts or socks). I prefer the wicking and odor control of wool, so I've been slowly converting all of these items to Icebreaker, Ibex, or Smartwool. Some might find these itchy, but I don't. For instance, I bought my father a Smartwool baselayer a few years ago and he hated it compared to Patagonia capilene. He found the wool itchy.

Anyway, some good ideas have been thrown out there on this thread, but for me, if it's cotton I can't consider it for underwear. Also, of the three companies I listed, ibex and icebreaker are probably the best quality, with Smartwool trailing somewhat, though still good IMHO.

As mentioned a few times earlier, I too prefer Under Armour boxer briefs in the 9" inseam. Especiially the Touch series. The fabric has a feel similar to cotton, but with the benefits of synthetic materials. I stumbled into this because I use their boxerjocks (short inseam boxer briefs) exclusively at the gym. I was tired of boxers bunching under my pants and tightly whities are just not comfortable to me. I started wearing them under my jeans but it wasn't long until they became a staple and replaced everything else. As I said earlier, I find the long inseam the most comfortable under trousers and for all day wear.

I will say I have tried the UA Mesh series and found them very tight fitting and just uncomfortable. I stick to the O Series and Touch Series.

Those are very long. Do they hug your leg so much that you feel underneath the grip?

Have you tried the 3" one?
