SFers I need your help. I need to purchase another suit and would like some suggestions. Is it realistic to buy a good quality suit for less than $1,000? Ive done some research on here and have found most of the highly recommend suits are $2,000+.

Does anyone have suggestions for a suit around $600-900

Your best bet would be sales or the B&S. You can get the best suits costing $2000+ for less than $1000.

You can definitely find fantastic suits for under $900. For example, you can find $4000 Ralph Lauren Purple Label suits for under $900... like I have for sale. Partenopea is another one you can find that's great for under $1k.

A few things I don't want to buy on eBay and
Prefer to buy in person.

B&S here is amazing. I got a really nice RLPL suit for 600 from aportnoy. For other sites, STP is good, Gilt occasionaly has decent deals. Go to your local Saks Off Fifth or Nordstroms Rack. You can probably find some Hickey Freeman suits for decent prices, sometimes at Off Fifth I've seen mainline Zegna suits for cheap.

Check Gilt.com today for their "Suit Up" sale. There are great suits at lesser price points.
