What do you do to take care of your dry hair days? I've tried it all with little success... Currently using Jojoba Oil and Phytodefrisant every other day.... They tend to only work for a while then my hair gets worse....

Suggestions?

i find the jojoba only works while in your hair [ie: make it look like 1 day unwashed, if used sparingly] 1. use not so harsh shampoos [l'oreal for kids, srsly

] 2. wash hair every other day, every 3 days is ok. 3. condition regularly! every shower [presumably 1x daily] put the conditioner in. 4. deep-condition [you can buy these @ the drug store, its just an oil in a tube you heat in a cup of boiling water, then put the oil in your hair and leave in for a few minutes 5. home-remedy deep condit's - putting egg yolks in your hair 6. not using alcohol-based hair products - alcohol dries out the hair 7. heat products - overblowdrying, crappy straighteners 8. dont towel dry your hair in every direction, i just run back->front and "squiggle" it thru lol, then blowdry DOWN the shaft from root-->tip [if you even blowdry] 9. dying your hair doesnt help

I think this thread has come up before pretty recently. Do a search for it. On dry hair days, I tend to add a very little amount of baby oil to my damp-from-the-shower hair. Also, the above poster gave good advice. Conditioner is your friend. So it johnson's baby shampoo. It's what I wash my cashmere in.
