sorry for the newbness. this is my first post.
i'm thinking of getting some common projects, and am trying to figure which would be the most versatile between a pair of grey low tops or black. i most likely will be wearing grey cords or jeans, and some sort of raw denim like apc new standards. and on top, usually some solid AA 50/50 T shirt.

any thoughts?

between those two i'd pick gray, but white is better than them both.

I'll differ and go with gray. More versatile (go better with blues) than black in my opinion.

I'm with grey. Grey or blue.

White sneakers stand out too much and also require more maintenance.

White then black, I find gray shoes hard to wear with anything.

I got my first pair when they first hit at Nom D, but I'll continue to buy even though they are becoming a little more mainstream. Played out....no

Gray, then Black, then white. Why? They are all great, but you can find black shoes everywhere, same with white. Gray is just different enough, but not too crazy that it will stand out with everything you wear. Also, I believe that a cheaper gray shoe won't look nearly as great as CP's, but a black or white shoe that looks great is easy to come by.

Black sneakers always look weird to me. I'm sure most will disagree with me... but I always wonder why you aren't just wearing some nice leather shoes if you are going pure black. White are alriight, but limited and get dirty easily.
