I'm really enjoying the Gap denim washed ones, Valet gave them their approval.

If you're looking for dressy ones their tailored slims are nice, but I stick with the wrinkle-resistant ones, personally.

I tried the the BB ones yesterday...legs space was perfect. but the waist was slightly to tight. I tried my actual size at 30x30. I think 31x30 would fit perfectly. 32x30 was to loose. Sadly the online store only carries 32 and up...lame.

I'm going to try the J.crew ones and banana republic ones since they are next door to my job.

Does anyone have a waist measurement for the BB milano fit khakis? I don't own any pants from BB so I'd like to get a measurement to figure out what size I'd need to order.

^My 31/32 measure 16" at the waist. The inseam runs slightly short, so you might want to size up and hem them yourself.

Jkhan82: The pants go down to 30" online, but they don't show up if they are sold out.

I have a pair of the Gap tailored slim, and while I love the cut of the legs, the rise is comically low. They're great if you never plan on tucking your shirt.

Agree with whats been posted.

J Crew Urban Slim Fit
Brooks Brothers Milano Fit
Mabitex
Incotex
My concern with J Crew slim fit khakis is they are not tight enough in the crouch. Otherwise they look and feel great.

Rugby RL are great. They're slim and come in a ton of colors.

I recommend Em of Masons. Soft and confortable and slim. I purchased all mine from the Barneys Warehouse sale for roughly $35 a pair so if you have access, you should definitely check that out.

Hrm, I'll check these out. I've tried all the others mentioned in the thread, but the Gap rise is too low, the Milanos bind, etc.

I'd really like it if someone would make a normal-rise khaki that's slim in the '60s sense, neither baggy nor obscene.

I own two pairs of Gap slim denim washed khakis. They are very good quality, but not as slim as I would like. The best pair I own are my BB five pocket vintage slim fit chinos. They are a true slim fit all the way to the leg opening, and the cotton is super soft. I have also bought a pair of J Crew urban slim fits, but did not like them so I returned them.

For reference, I wear 30 for Gap, 31 for BB.
