Hey!

I'm in the market for some good quality slim fitting khakis, any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Loro Piana's summer items are always top notch; a bit pricey, but nicely made and look great. Some of their cotton trousers are looser, some are really very slim, so try on before you buy.

Brooks Brothers Milano (slimmest fit) chinos are great and on sale for $34.75 in eight colors. If you really want the BEST, though, the best chinos in my opinion are the Unis "Gio". Their store is in NYC, so go check them out. They're very expensive, though.

I would say either J.Crew Urban Slim Fit or the Brooks Brothers Milano pants. The Crew is a bit heavier weight, but both are good pants for the price.

just so they're not "form fitting." Khakis shouldn't hug the leg, look gay.

I gotta get in on this. I normally buy size 36 mabitex and get them taken in to about a 34. Anyone know how the Milanos fit? Thanks! EDIT - nevermind...read all the reviews and everyone says to size up one. So guess I'll try 36 for my 34 waist.

A dissenting sizing opinion here. I have a skinny butt and a true waist size 33". The Vintage Slim Milanos I just got (2 pr.) in 33wx30 were too large in the waist and inseam measured 29 1/2. The fit and quality was quite good for the sale price--about like the slimmer Mabitex. So, I'll try to exchange for 32x32 and hem them to 31. Except BB exchange protocol is utterly opaque and customer service phone access is only M-F 8-4:30. Banker's hours for the now dowdy grey lady of 'Murican haberdashery.
