For me, Sopranos hands down. Remember that it ran from 1999-2007, whereas Breaking Bad started in 2008. They might not be comparable in some aspects.

The options you gave are my four favorite shows, though, it's a tough choice.

The correct answer is Firefly, but out of the choices provided I go with Breaking Bad.

The Wire. The Sopranos was good but one of the more overated shows. I though OZ was equitable, but don't/didn't watch it as much, because of all of the naked men and gay sex.

Hard to really judge because The Wire and Sopranos are both finished, while Mad Men and Breaking Bad are still going on. That said
The Wire > Sopranos and Breaking Bad > Mad Men.

Breaking Bad is so unbelievably perfect, it's not even funny.

BrBa, then Wire, then Mad Men...haven't watched Sopranos yet :embar:

It's definitely between BrBa and the wire, but it's so close. I have to think about this.

As much as I LOVE BrBa, shouldn't we hold off till it's completed? Too many amazing shows managed to fall apart in the final season.

True...it's not a finished product, but the show has thus far been so impeccably well made that I can't imagine Vince Gilligan completely ******** the bed in season 5.

I will say this...Seasons 1-4 on their own would be better than The Wire and Mad Men, IMO.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
