These are super crisp and have a simple but robust potato taste. No flavoring, just great chips. Could make a comparison to beer. regular chips taste like lite beer. These are like an IPA.
My bad, just saw the Utz brand dark russets posted on previous page

I'm a fan of Cape Cod brand chips as well, but never seen this flavor offered. Now I'm going to be on the hunt this weekend and give them a try!

Went to Binny's for the Deep River chips and found they carry another brand with Horseradish/Cheddar flavor.
Herr's are rippled, D.R. are plain.
Herr's has a stronger, more potent dose of horseradish.
Prefer the Deep River style chip but prefer Herr's flavor.

Oh. I can contribute to this one. I've travelled all over, and I always make sure to test the local chips and candy assortment.

I prefer a real crispy one, with a nice bite, yet not as thin as Lays (that feels like putting paper to your tongue).

Usually every country have some sort of artisinal offering that's better than the common brands. So I won't rank those.

The favorites that stick out are;

An insane wasabi crisp from Japan. Bought at 7/11. Perfect bite, perfect flavour. I think it was this one;

Others are;

These taste like perfected french fries...

The only crisp that's both hot and niiiice.

The best salt chips in the world. I will fight you on this one.

Norway actually has several good ones that are worth trying...

Those Irish/British chips (crisps?) are so good. The potatoes they use are very different and cut thicker. Honestly I'm of the mindset that a good base (ie: potato) is what you need and the flavoring is really incidental.
