I'm looking for khakis / chinos in navy and olive cotton twill. Dockers has a few, Bill's doesn't have true navy anywhere available online that I can find.

What do people recommend?

Thanks - JD

Dockers. I would suggest Uniqlo, but their stuff is vanity!

Mabitex / Incotex from B&S. And hope you don't get a blow out.

I am partial to Brooks Brothers' Hudson chinos. They are of sturdier material than other brands, with a waistband that doesn't roll like lesser brands. And they are no-iron. I know they have navy, but not sure about olive.

The Hudson fits me best, but there are other models made of the same material like the Milano mentioned above.

SF 101:

Don't buy navy pants of any kind, unless they are jeans.

Too difficult to pair with shirts and they make you look short.

The issue of navy pants has been canvassed before, and it is not "SF 101" that they should be avoided, IIRC - not that that means much: just SF 'group think'. I accept that many members here think that navy pants should be avoided except as part of a suit. I am not one of them. Navy pants IMO can be very versatile, although I would avoid matching them with a navy blazer for obvious reasons.

I am bemused by the 'short' comment or the perceived difficulty in finding suitable shirts.
