"Best of" Thread: Outerwear

Gentlemen, A long while ago I wrote to the Sartorialist and suggested that he start a feature by which, over the course of a month or so, he would post a series of pictures detailing what was in his opinion the "Best of" a certain article or clothing, or appropriation of a trend, etc. Of course, he ignored me completely, but it has struck me (twice, like lightning) that given the broad reading and backgrounds of the people on this board, a serious "best of" thread would accumulate a very diverse set of pictures which could act as inspiration for everyone here. I, for one, almost always look at what others are wearing before creating something for myself. So, to start off, I propose doing a "Best of Outerwear" thread. Everyone post your favorite articles of outwear (not accessories, but jackets etc.) and we'll see how this kind of thread fares. I'll go first: 1. I like the shape of the lapels and the general amount of waist suppression. It seems like a very low-volume single breasted jacket, basic but well made. That it's from a GQ pictorial.. well... no comment. 2. Shape, again. Less waist suppression than I would like, but the shoulders are strong and I like the weight of the fabric- it's important for the roll of the lapels. 3. Color, lapel size. 4. Lovely proportions on the DB, although never a fan of the chesterfield collar unless it actually detaches. EI

Gentlemen (and you know who you are), can you guess the overcoat style from the lapels?

It's a nicely made coat...the collar and sleeves are set by hand.
