Hi,

Am new to SF and to NY so forgive this if it's a slight rehash, but many of the postings on this topic were old.

I need an entirely new set of shirts for work. I travel a lot, to some really crappy places, but I also have to dress up for diplomatic gigs. So I'm thinking of a gaggle of OTR shirts, supported by a select number of CEGO shirts for nicer occasions, based on hours of SF reading...

I'm a slim-fit (but not williamsburg slim), spread collar kind of guy, with conservative tastes and a like for a splash of colour.

Where would you shop here if you were me?!

Thanks for advice!

i think most regular business-class people in NYC wear somewhere along the lines of brooks brothers or charles tyrwitt, dont they?

brooks would be good for you. If you plan on spending more than that, look into thomas pink or RL black label
