I'm in New York City and I was wondering where's the best place to get a nice staple suit at around ~800-1000. I was looking at Mr. Ned, Brooks Brothers and Suitsupply...any recommendations? Thanks in advance, I appreciate the help

Suit supply from forum consensus makes a decent suit, good bang for buck. BB you can get a half canvas, with decent fabric for under 1k both places are good.

Andrew Lock, a forum member's brand he's located in NY. you should def check him out too, and can get measured etc. MTM I think you'll be able to afford more suit for the same price,

you can pm him http://www.styleforum.net/u/7377/angelicboris

All the places you mention are fine - now you have to go and try them on (each has various cuts to try, I suppose except Mr.Ned, which AFAIK is a MTM only operation, but you may be able to get an idea of the house style if they have some finished garments on hand) and see which one fits you best.
