So we all have our favorites and the companies/retailers that we would never think of doing business with again, but I'd like to see some shared experiences about your favorite companies based on customer service, quality, durability, fit, shop aesthetics, etc. Hopefully we can all discover some great, not-too-well-known companies to do business with.

I just took a trip to midtown Atlanta and visited this shop in the Westside Development called 'Sid Mashburn' which completely blew my mind. I walked into a room filled with knick knacks and treasures from around the world to be greeted by one of the friendliest employees I've ever met. He wasn't exactly a salesman as he wasn't pushing me to get something as you have in a lot of other local shops. He offered me a drink and later brought me a San Pellegrino and we spent about an hour talking about a pair of loafers. The entire staff was incredibly nice and knowledgable while the tailors were behind a curtain showing off their mastery of the art. I ended up getting a couple of shirts, one was royal oxford and the other broadcloth. The prices were steep yet generous when considering the exceptional quality (and including that any tailoring is included in the price). I have visited a few times since and (whenever I can) try to buy from them. They are a testament to what every gentleman's store should want to be. Apparently they've won "#1 Men's Store" a few times. If you find yourself in Atlanta, I recommend Sid Mashburn a million times over.
