There's some good N. American made cars in this range, some you can get new, some you'll have to get used. Viper, used Corvette, used Dodge Challenger (the souped up version) new Mustang, (whatever they're calling their fastest version this year) new For nearly 100% impractical, either a Ford Lightning or Dodge SRT pickup. Both are useless as a pick up, have no cabin space, and go like bats out of hell. A viper is definitely an awesome car, most impractical on your list actually, and you can get a nice one for $50K.. Extra points for a 1st gen GTS for that extra impracticality.. Corvette you can get brand new for $43K and up. Challenger is pretty badass, but I am scared it will become white trash once it's widely distributed and the 6cyl comes out. But a 6.1L Challenger SRT with over 400 horsies would be fun. But not a bad daily driver, and not as pure as a viper, elise, or even a vette. A mustang cobra GT500 would also be badass, 500hp+ and very upgradeable, and pretty damn impractical. As far as lighting and ram SRT, they are both actually somewhat practical, more practical than an elise, or a cayman, or a viper, or a cobra.. you get the point.
