I keep my hair at a medium length, but it's wavy and difficult to control. If I don't put anything in it, it becomes a puffy afro. I've tried almost everything in the last 10 years looking for something that keeps my hair in place but isn't sticky and still allows me to run my hand through it and fix it when a gust of wind blows in the wrong direction.
I don't know why nobody told me about this stuff before, but it is awesome:

It's a white cream with the viscosity of a moisturizer. It provides a light hold and you can still fix your hair if it gets really messed up because you can actually put your hands through it. It's expensive as hell at $30 for a piddly 75ml, but it's totally worth it imo. If anyone else has problems finding a product they actually like, I'd encourage them to try it. Oh, and it smells kinda nice too.
I've been using this product for past few days now and I totally agree it's the best product I've ever used. It doesn't give a lot of control but enough to keep hair in place with nice natural looking shine and it's not heavy or sticky at all. Only downside is the price.
