I love lamps. To me, the lamps a guy chooses for his home or office is as much a reflection of their personal style as their clothing. You will find these in my house. Post your favorites.

Oh man, I looooooove lamps. I'm a 60s/70s design collector, so all of my lamps fall in that category.

I was going to post the Toio, but I see that you beat me to it. I have the version with the red base, and it was one of my grail lamps for many years. Pretty much any lamp designed by the Castiglioni brothers is up there for me.

This is the lamp in my collection that probably gets the most comments -- the Boalum, produced by Artemide (not my photo):

Nice, I see why that gets the comments. Does it produce much light though?

I bought the Block Lamp for my nieces and nephews when they went off to college. It makes a good mood lamp and looks cool. I've bought lamps for a number of my designer friends for gifts. It is one of the few design related items I would ever give a designer.

Yes, the theme here is Italian design.

I like many of the Italian lamps however I am impressed by how many great designs have come by way of the UK.

My brother has the larger pendant/ceiling version of this lamp in his house. Definitely one of the better designs that Artemide has produced in recent times.
