I must very much disagree. The suits in The Dark Knight were a disaster. Low gorge, windsor/half windsor knots, gap between the lapels and collar in almost every shot. The scene where he gives the speech in the penthouse before the Joker shows up I remember being mesmerized by how poorly the fit was on the jacket considering how much advertising Armani did to highlight the fact he was wearing their suits. Even in the pictures you posted there is gap, and the pants look to be pleated.
HELLO! ARE YOU FROM THE PAST? PLEATS ARE BACK. Really I think nowadays they add more gravitas to a very nicely made classic suit, on someone who is say over 30.

Not a movie, but Neal Caffrey from the TV show "White Collar" is very well dressed IMO. He wears his clothes, not the other way around; I particularly enjoy the fedora.

has anyone worn actual bespoke naples stuff on film? not just the rtw/mtm vacca stuff piven wears and not counting older italian films. i'd imagine if an actor did like pierce having stuff made by gianni campagna but err rubinacci sfers would nut. who would you imagine wearing bespoke neapolitan anyway in cinema? whose body type/ character matches it? somehow i can't imagine clive owen wearing that stuff. but who knows.

There's a reason why Conan has never been in a movie. Or has he? [IMG]
