Maybe I am too old.
Bought a gorgeous pair of Vass from a seller on the forum, in pristine condition with trees and bags, for less than $400. In our email exchange he mentioned he had a second pair, which he hadn't listed, so I bought those too. He was such a gent and even held the second pair for me until I had received the first and could be sure of the fit.
Two pair of Vass for like $700 – this was such a deal I almost felt guilty, but he was happy since he just didn't care for the shoes. They are without a doubt my favorite shoes ever.
I bought a brand new pair of EG Dovers on ebay for £80. They're black, but still...
NWT RLP charcoal suit made by Corneliani for $200 from savilerow78 on Ebay. I don't think they have listed a suit w/o a reserve price since!
Actually, I take that back. I bought 2 vintage trunks, Louis Vuitton and Goyard at a local estate sale for $20. They were from the early 1900's, and leather no less. Sold them for a tremendous profit. That was definitely the best ever.
15 pairs of Corneliani for PRL trousers for ~ $250.
Got Allen Edmonds wingtips for $35 shipped and Ferragamo Double Monks for $71 shipped. I feel like those are pretty solid deals.
That's 16.67 per pair, nice deal.
I would say that is a great deal. Wish I stumbled upon good shoe deals, in dire need of shoes.
eBay, my friend. I'm sure you already know. Just gotta be diligent and find the deals and swoop in at the last minute.
Allen Edmonds Presidio NIB for $ 100
Were they both brand new, because I assumed your deal was based on brand new shoes.
Grenson Masterpiece Brown Suede Semi Brogues worn once on ebay £45.00 were in perfect as new condition.
I got Edward Green navy cordovan double monks for only $1,400 direct from the factory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those would be calf!!!
