    Hi All-

I am always interested to know what constitutes a "good deal". I understand that the call of this question is largely subjective, as we all have differing opinions, tastes, and conceptions of value. However, I think that the combination of fabric quality, the "do I need this"
quotient (would this garment make a valuable addition to your wardrobe), and price are all factors which we could agree are fundamental to answer this question.

Ok, with that in mind, I wanted to share my latest "good deal" with you all.
Store: Urban Outfitters (I know, I know- surprising)
    Brand: Ben Sherman
    Garment: Waxed Cotton Terrace Jacket
    Link: http://urbout.co/pksCBT
Size: XL (UK sizing I suppose, since I usually wear US Medium)
MSRP: $199.99 (on price tag; it's now $129.99 on the UO website)
    Paid: $29.99

    Let's see yours!

2 Boglioli suits for about $160-190 each and a Boglioli jacket for $130 from threedifferent.com. The fit is perfect.

Recently picked up two chinos from a guy. Both were in "go-to-hell" preppy colors (green and red). Chinos are priced at 79 from Rugby Ralph Lauren, got both for 45 Shipped. Seller listed them as women's but put men's sizes on the description, and images showed men's sizes. I realized his mistake and took advantage and even let he seller know and he commended me and said congrats on the deal.
What constituted this a good deal? I had my eyes on these on the rugby site for over a month and was nearly ready to pay them 60+ for one pair of chinos. It also fits my preppy collection and some styles that I wanted to try out.

I've gotten other deals better or similar to this in the past, too many to detail here.

about a decade ago, I was in need of a first interview outfit for engineering... I hit up a good will store and 20 bucks out the door I had an outfit I would not hesitate to post in WAYWN. Now obviously you can't cheap on footwear so it was worn with a pair of AE seneca in chili. It was a rockin outfit, ten years later the DKNY sport jacket I got for 8 bucks is still my go-to casual jacket. Any article of mens wear that you can break down to less than 10 cents per use is a pretty insane return on investment.

I don't think I've been back to a resale shop since, but the jacket is one of those things that if there ever was a fire in my place, I'm pretty sure it would be one of the few possessions I grabbed. For me its just the perfect jacket.....
