It is damn hard to create a lasting comedy series, all the while getting less acclaim than new dramas/thrillers etc.

You don't see stitches putting phil dunphy as his avatar.

This is about the shows that get no respect.

Edit:

So far some shows that people have mentioned being left out:

Eastbound & Down
Trailer Park Boys
Simpsons
South Park

From that list only, I had to go with Curb. Not sure why The Simpsons wasn't included.

Yeah, The Simpsons should have definitely been included. South Park is another one that dominates in terms of social commentary and pop culture humor.

From the list, probably Chappelle's Show. Key and Peele is also hilarious. When skit shows are done well, they're awesome.

Simpsons gets so much clout in best series in general discussions that I left it out,

As for South Park, I didn't think to include it for voting.

If you think a series should have been included, either vote "None of these" or reply with the series that I missed.

I voted for Frasier. I doubt many will agree, but questions like this are mostly about preference and I think the show is hilarious. Wish Kelsey Grammar would get back into comedy (but with a good show).

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
