Not black. You don't want a new girl knowing what went on last night. White looks like a hotel. Light grey is the best for me. Linen if possible. Keeps it from getting too hot.

Azure Blue is my favorite bedding color, though I do rotate several colors. As an aside, I find it a luxury to have two well appointed bedrooms, one for sleep and one for play. I don't like to sleep on damp, soiled sheets.

In the '60s one knew a well-off bachelor by their black silk shirts, and the Erno Laszlo Black soap in the bathroom.

In fact, the stereotypical bachelor pad today is largely a '60s infusion what with smart jazz, and cigarettes.
