Best Christmas specials

It is almost 1 December, the earliest I approve of anything Christmas-related being put on display. However, during the month of December, I attempt to relive my childhood holidays by watching my favourite Christmas specials and movies almost every day. These include Home Alone, Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and so forth.

I want to branch out a bit this year. What are the best Christmas specials/movies you know?

Christmas specials or just Christmas programming/movies in general?

I gotta watch Scrooged, with Bill Murray, every year. Love that movie.

Any Christmas-related moving pictures.

The last time I watched Scrooged it creeped me out for some reason. He was just so mean.

*AHEM* - A Christmas Story

Also, this year I wound up with Hogfather on DVD - three hours of Terry Pratchett madness, which I've yet to watch but I loved the book so this ought to be good.

Merry Christmas, movie house!

Actually, that reminds me: I need to watch some of the original South Park christmas specials.

The Grinch Whole Stole Christmas was a childhood favorite, along with the one about the young Chris Cringle.

Now I like The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Charlie Brown Christmas, if only for the music. Elf is good for a laugh. National Lampoon's Xmas Vacation too.

Home Alone is probably may favorite.

I pretty sure half of the movies listed here were on t.v. this last weekend. Wasting no time, I guess.

Yes, Elf was good. Have you seen Bad Santa? Horribly crude but a really good movie. I forgot that the first two Die Hards were Christmas movies. Guess I'll have to watch those, too. WTF is emmet otter's jugband?

Haha, crude indeed. Most of what I remember about Bad Santa involves the midget.
